2. Reservations

2.1 How to Make a Reservation: Reservations can be made through our website, OTAs, or by direct inquiry via email or phone.
2.2 Deposit & Payment:

  • Reservations on Website: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 48 hours before check-in.
  • Reservations on OTAs: Some OTAs may charge the full amount upfront, others may require a deposit, or in some cases, no deposit is required. Please review the specific terms when booking through OTAs.
    2.3 Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, and Bank Transfers.
    2.4 Taxes: All rates are subject to the following taxes:
  • 13% IVA (Value Added Tax)
  • 5% City Hotel Tax
    2.5 Booking Confirmation: Upon completion of the reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with all details regarding your stay.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

3.1 Check-In Time: After 3:00 PM.
3.2 Check-Out Time: By 11:00 AM.
3.3 Early Check-In: Available from 6:00 AM, subject to availability, with an additional fee of $40.
3.4 Late Check-Out: Available until 5:00 PM, subject to availability, with an additional fee of $40.
3.5 Identification Required: All guests must present a government-issued ID, passport, or driver’s license at check-in.
3.6 Online Check-In: Check-in is conducted online via instructions sent to you prior to arrival. Guests must upload images of all individuals staying in the room.

4. Room Occupancy & Amenities

4.1 Room Occupancy:

  • Double Queen Rooms: Max 4 guests. The rate covers up to 2 guests; additional guests are charged $8 per person.
  • Bunk Suites: Max 6 guests. The rate covers up to 4 guests; additional guests are charged $8 per person.
    4.2 Room Amenities:
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Room Service Breakfast
  • Turn-Down Service
  • Toiletries (including shampoo, soap, towels)
    4.3 Property Features: As the property is in an older, remodeled building, there is no elevator on-site. Please consider this when booking if you have mobility concerns.

5. Hotel Policies

5.1 Smoking Policy: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside rooms, on balconies, and public areas.
5.2 Pets Policy: Pets are allowed with a fee of $20 per pet, per stay, with a maximum of two pets per room.
5.3 Damage to Property: Guests are fully responsible for any damage to hotel property caused by them or their party, either intentionally or through gross negligence. Any damage must be reported immediately, and guests will be charged for the repair or replacement of damaged items.
5.4 Children's Policy: Children are welcome but must not be left alone in the hotel at any time. Parents and guardians are fully responsible for their children’s actions and any damage caused by them.
5.5 Noise Considerations: Due to the property's location and ongoing cultural activities nearby, there may be occasional noise from traffic or vendors. Additionally, as the building is older and has ongoing construction, noise levels within the building may not always be at ideal quiet levels.
5.6 Liability Disclaimer: We are not responsible for lost or stolen items, health issues, accidents, or damages caused by natural disasters, civil unrest, or other unpredictable events during your stay.

6. Cancellations & Modifications

6.1 Cancellation Policy:

  • Standard Cancellation: You can cancel your reservation up to 48 hours prior to check-in without charge.
  • Rate Adjustments: If you modify your reservation, any rate adjustment will be charged if the new rate is higher. If the new rate is lower, there will be no refund for the difference.
    6.2 Non-Refundable Rate: Reservations made with non-refundable rates are not eligible for cancellation or modification.
    6.3 Late Modifications: Any changes made within 48 hours of check-in will be subject to availability, and guests must pay any rate adjustment if the new rate is higher.

7. Force Majeure

7.1 Definition: A force majeure event refers to circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from fulfilling our obligations under these terms and conditions. These include, but are not limited to, natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes), war, civil unrest, pandemics, government actions, and other unforeseeable events.
7.2 Impact of Force Majeure: In the event of a force majeure, we are not liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our services. Should such an event occur, we will make reasonable efforts to inform guests promptly and offer alternatives where possible.
7.3 Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance to cover any potential financial loss due to cancellation, trip interruption, or force majeure events.

8. Governing Law

8.1 Applicable Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of El Salvador.
8.2 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved in the courts of El Salvador.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1 Modifications to Terms: We reserve the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the website, and your continued use of the services indicates acceptance of these changes.
