Feel Somewhere else.

BOUTIQUE HOTEL · SANTA TECLA, EL SALVADOR

Stay close.

Design-led rooms, individual hospitality, and a rooftop made for lingering, just outside the city, with room to breathe.

Close to everything.
Unlike anywhere else.

Ipan Noya is a small boutique hotel shaped by art, natural light and the rhythm of Santa Tecla. The experience feels personal because it is—owner and artist Edgar Marroquin created a place where the details carry a story.

A Small Hotel With

a Personal Story

Ipan Noya was created as a modern interpretation of a great-grandmother’s home: warm, thoughtful, and attentive without feeling formal. The name itself comes from Nawat and reflects the idea that genuine hospitality is individual. Everyone is cared for, but not necessarily in the same way.

Designed by owner Edgar Marroquín after more than two decades in interior design, the hotel brings together contemporary architecture, original art, Salvadoran craftsmanship, and a lasting connection to family and place.

THE ART OF IPAN NOYA

Not decoration.
Part of the story.

Atardecer Tecleño

2024 · Edgar Marroquin · 12 ft × 54 in

An atmospheric abstraction of the Santa Tecla valley and San Salvador volcano, built from spray paint, latex, acrylic and oil. Purples and golds emerge through misted whites and stormy grays.

Three sculptural works built from real bedding, plaster, lace and poetry explore memory, intimacy and the stories beds hold.

THE SMARTER SIDE OF THE METRO

Santa Tecla is not far away.
It is the better base.

Think Brooklyn, not Manhattan: part of the metropolitan area, connected to the capital, but calmer, greener and easier to come home to.

  • Easy access to San Salvador, Surf City, & Volcanos

  • Restaurants, shops and local life nearby

  • A quieter place to reset between plans

ROOFTOP & LOUNGE

The view is just the excuse.

Small plates, made to share. Cocktails from the bar. Afternoon tea, too — a proper ritual, scones and all.

Our chef changes the small-plate menu with what's in season. Our mixologist does the same with the bar.
